[BRCLabor] Membership of American Organizations is expected to be somewhat older

"...a shame that 34 years after its founding, CBTU’s
number of convention delegates has barely grown. This
is reflected in the age of CBTU members—the average
member is 50-plus years old. At this year’s
convention there were only 1,292 delegates (a low
point in recent years)."

Actually, the population of the United States in 2000
was 50% over and 50% under the age of 50. The age of
the CBTU membership only reflects the aging of America
as have all organizations in the states.
